Well hello there,

As we welcome the month of November, my heart is filled with gratitude for each of you. This is a season known for Thanksgiving, a time when we pause to reflect on the many blessings God has given us— our families, our faith, and the fellowship we share within our church community.

This month, I encourage us all to cultivate an attitude of gratitude. The apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." Even when life brings challenges, we are reminded that God's love and faithfulness endure, giving us strength and hope.

November also marks the beginning of our new outreach program for children. In partnership with Bible2School, Columbia Church of God will be hosting a group of fifth graders in an afterschool program to learn more about the Bible. I ask that you pray for the children and leaders in attendance. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring them new eyes and help more kids to walk in the light of Jesus. Pray for expansion, excitement, and healing.

On Thanksgiving Day, whether you gather with loved ones or spend quiet moments in prayer, may you experience the peace and joy that come from knowing Christ. Let us remember those who may be lonely or in need during this season, extending a helping hand and a warm heart wherever we can.

I am deeply thankful for this church, your commitment, and your prayers. May the Lord bless you abundantly this November and guide us all as we continue to walk together in Christ for His glory.

Product of Grace,
Pastor Richard List
