Well, hello there,

As September blows in and a new school year begins, the excitement of fresh starts and learning opportunities fills our hearts. Students, teachers, and families are preparing to return to classrooms, ready to discover, grow, and embrace the joy of education. In this season of renewal, let us also remember that as followers of Christ, we are called to be lifelong students of God's Word.

The Bible, our foundation and guide, offers wisdom and encouragement for every stage in life. Just as our students dedicate time to their studies, may we, too, devote ourselves to learning and reflecting on Scripture. Whether you are young or old, new to the faith or a seasoned believer, the treasures of the Bible await those willing to explore its pages.

Proverbs 1:5 reminds us, "Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance." Let us set aside time each day to read, meditate on, and discuss the Scriptures. In doing so, we strengthen our faith, deepen our understanding, and equip ourselves to live out God's love in the world.

I encourage our congregation to support one another in this journey of spiritual discovery. Pray for our students and educators, and for each person seeking to grow in knowledge of Christ. Allow Columbia Church of God be a place where the pursuit of truth and wisdom is cherished—where both academic studies and spiritual growth go hand in hand.

For anyone feeling anxious or uncertain, let in the words of the Bible to be a source of comfort and hope. And as we face new challenges, turn to God's promises, trusting that He will guide and teach us each step of the way.

May God grant us passion for learning, both in our studies and in our faith. Take time to learn your Bible, for within its words you will find light for the journey and strength for each day.

Pastor Richard
