Well, hello there,
I hope you are soaking up these summer days—whether it’s family barbecues, long walks in the sun, or just catching your breath after a busy week. August always feels like summer’s gentle exhale, doesn’t it? Before we fall into pumpkin spice coffee and a snow-filled winter, I pray you are finding some warm pieces of joy this season.
Lately, I’ve been thinking about how God meets us right in the middle of our everyday routines. Not just in the big moments, but in the quiet ones too. There’s a verse I love from 1 Corinthians 16:14: “Let all that you do be done in love.” It’s such a simple challenge, but such a big one, too! Whether you’re helping a neighbor with groceries, sharing a laugh with a friend, or just taking a moment to breathe and pray, it all matters to God.
Let’s keep an eye out for those small chances to encourage someone—a quick text, a helping hand, or even just a smile. These little moments are how we live out our faith, one day at a time. As Jesus reminds us in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
If you ever need a listening ear or a little extra support, please know you’re not alone. Reach out ̶ to me, to each other. That’s what church family is for! Let’s carry each other through the busy, the quiet, and everything in between.
Have a blessed month filled with laughter, rest, and the gentle presence of God.
Product of Grace,
Pastor Richard
